Nagamangala : The land of historical temples

Hello Guys,

In this blog I shared about one of the famous temple in Karnataka's historical temples land : The Nagamangala.

Nagamangala- This is the place back to the history of Mahabharata. In the early periods This place is called by the names of Ulachi nagara and Nagamandala.

This Swomya keshava swamy temple is built during the period of Hoysala's (12th century). Temple is in Nagara style (northern indian influence). After that Vijayanagara empires also gave contribution to this temple. 

The main God in this temple is 6feet tall SwomyaKeshava swamy  and Krishna Radha Rukmini and lakshmi Narashimaswamy idols is also there along with other many gods.

Nagamangala is 70KM away from historical city Mysuru, from Mandya 40KM away and Benagaluru 120KM away.
