Munroe Island (Mundrothuruthu)- A calm sleepy place, which is group of 8 island located at the confluence of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River, in Kollam district, Kerala.
The main attraction here is boating through the narrow waterways. You can do two types of activities here
Canoying - About 2 Hours - Charges Rs.1,200/- upto 6 persons
Shikkara Boating - 1 Hour - Rs.1,000/- Upto 8 persons.
You can also visit Dutch church. However, we did not visited the same due to time constraint.
This place is about 25 kilometres from Kollam and 660 Kms from Bengaluru.
