I will  tell a kutti story today that would make your day happy.

Last year May month14 of us were ready to trek to Ramanagar.   Around 1230 I sensed a high fever and was thinking about what to do.   We all were supposed to start too early.      At that hour called individually and expressed my apologies and canceled it.   Kirti hope you remember that night.   

After that, we planned at least 5..6 times, and each time it got canceled for its own reasons.

Finally, we planned to hike on the 26th, but most of us still were in doubt because of previous experiences.  I told myself, whatever may come and go, whoever come and go, I am going to do this on the 26th, even if it is going to be solo.

Few of us are meeting for the first time, we never felt so. It was like a family get-together.

we were un deciding about going by bus/train,   But in the end, settled on the car.   Started from home at 610, and had two pickups on the way.Initially planned to have thatta idly at Bidadi, but since kids are not found of idli, we had our breakfast at A2B.     A2B has become a costly affair.   Nowadays we maximum avoid.

By 830 we reached  Ramanagar, my lookout was for a small mountain with water, so we hit  Kera betta.   

The climate, weather, the mountain, breeze, little little drizzle,  less crowd, everything was apt / Perfect to the core, one can't ask for more.   Dil Nahi manga more. ha ha ha.

We were nine of us, spent three hours.   If had my food, I don't mind settling for a whole day, seeing those mountains, the lake the greenery place, the faraway houses,  the boulders.   lying on those rocks, gazing at the sky.....the day can turn into minutes.  Pls note, I am not a nature lover - still, then imagine about the mountain lovers?

Kids were so excited, telling stories, hoping like hanuman gang, giggles.

By 12  we were downhill and went to Janapada Loka and spent one hour, came to Kamath hotel.    Literally waited for 30 mins, could be because we were 9 of us.  Finally got our table,  Sorry guys - the review is not good.  We literally waited for each dish a long n long and long. The original taste also gone.   I doubt visiting them again.

Started towards home,  can a day end without dessert!  it is my son's dialogue, we went to Natural's and had ice cream.  Pls, note that our intestine is not happy with cold things like ice cream.  I avoid it, just a tip of a spoon will do for craving. ha ha ha  

Back home by 6 pm.  

PS,:
1.   We only left behind just our footsteps

2. Found a few alcohol bottles, whomever drinks, it is always better to get it back in our own bag.

3.  I felt it is not safe to drink in this betta, it is not a safe place.  So, pls avoid it.  Life is very precious

4. Often people have a wrong notion about trekking.  I did it in 45 mins or 130 hrs.  Nope!    It is more about the journey than a destination.

5.  The pic which you are seeing is through my camera lens.  You find the Bangalore climate is cloudy - hit the betta.  Pls, visit once to capture those in your eyes and make a memorable day in your life along with your family and friends.
