One of the main tourist attraction in Kasaragod is the lake Temple Ananthapura. Its very unique due to the presence of Vegetarian Crocodile ‘Babiya’. It’s just 13 km from Kasaragod town and well connected by road.
Crocodile lives either in Temple’s lake or in the nearby pond. Everyday around 12.15 noon Priest offers ‘Naivedyam’ to the Crocodile ‘Babiya’ on its mouth. Though it is not guaranteed that you will see Babiya on every visit. Noise free environment attracts Babiya to come to the shore.
