This Dam is built using 'surkhi', a mixture of limestone and brick powder instead of cement.
The entire Brindavan Garden, spread over an area of 60 acres, is laid out in 3 terraces which contain water fountains, Ficus trees, foliage plants such as Duranta plumaria and Euphorbia and flowering plants like Celosia, Marigold and bougainvillea. Main entrance gate area is inspired by the design of India Gate, New Delhi.
The main attraction of the park is the musical fountain in which bursts of water are synchronised to the music of songs.

Brindavan Garden also has two beautiful horticulture farms. The Naguvana Horticulture Farm, located near the main gate, covers an area of 30 acres. It houses different types of plants and it has the Horticulture Training Centre of the Department of Horticulture which trains the local youth. The other farm is the Chandravana Horticulture Farm, which is smaller comparatively and is situated in the heart of River Cauvery. It covers an area of approximately 5 acres. Succulent mango trees and coconut trees are grown here.
Such an amazing view of flowers and good atmosphere and it looks beautiful during night with all that colours in the fountain. There is also a lake within the garden with boating facilities available for visitors.
