Lesser explored places of East coast of INDIA

East coast of India is home to innumerous tourist destinations. From places of religious importance, archeological marvels to natural beaches and harbors the East coast of India has tourist spots to satisfy the wanderlust. Apart from famous tourist spots of Puri, Vizag, Chennai etc the east coast has many less explored attractions. In search of such attractions we started road trip to explore some of the lesser travelled roads on East Coast of India and found many surprises in our journey.

1. KAKINADA: A small port town, 150 KM south of Vizag, is not on tourist map of India, but has a few places which are perfect weekend getaway.
2.  YANAM: Yanam is northern most town of UT of Pudducherry, which is 32 KM south of Kakinada. This coastal town and surrounding countryside is situated on the mouth of river Godavari.
3.  Mahabalipuram: An UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was port town of Pallava dynasty. Along with Group of ancient Monuments, the beach, light house and sculpture art of local offers a traveler indelible experience. 
4.  Pondicherry: The richness of this city lies in the  French architecture beautified with shoreline along with spritual connect offered by followers of Sri Aurobindo.
