Trekking Tour of Kodaikanal
The trek to Dolphin's nose and Vatakanal falls on the way are a must visit places in Kodaikanal. The misty surroundings and the beautiful sunrise are very impressive.
It was a half day tour where they took us to a 150 yr old Church and then to beautiful Vatakanal falls. We tasted local produce here, the tree tomatoes. Then started the trek for about 3 kms, 1.5 km was on cemented road and rest of it was downhill. One needs to be careful on the downhill trek, I got leeches on my foot. The view from here is beautiful, although when we reached it was all misty but the magical sun rise picture from the morning was just out of the world.
