Kodaikanal Village Tour
Village tour of Kodaikanal took us to the breathtaking views of Mannavanur lake which seemed like Scotland. The view of Poombarai Village is amazing.
The village tour of Kodaikanal started with a visit to a Solar Observatory which shows the sun and the dark spots of the sun through a telescope, one cannot take camera inside though. The next stop was a view point on the way to Mahalaxmi temple. It was bit cloudy but the view from the top was nice. The tour took us to beautiful Poombarai village and Murugan temple. The best visit was to Mannavanur lake, it appeared as if one is in Scotland. This place is so beautiful, one feels like spending lot of time there.
