In June of 2025, we made our first trip to Spain. Since Spain had given us an 18 month visa, we decided to cover Spain over a period of a month, split into three 10-day trips. This was the first of the triad. On this first trip, we followed a typical first timers itinerary of Spain. We spent 3 days in Madrid, 3 in Barcelona, day each visiting Toledo, Girona, Tarragona and Segovia.

The highlights include the astonishing 1st AD Roman Aqueduct of Segovia, the medieval walls of Avila, the museums of Madrid, the ancient city of Toledo, the amphitheatre at Tarragona and the modernist architecture of Barcelona. The details of the places we visited, the hotels where we stayed, the food that we ate are all in our accompanying 30 minute vlog whose link you can find below.
