Shivagange is a mountain peak with a height of around 2500ft and Hindu pilgrimage center located near Dobbaspet, in Bengaluru Rural district India. It is 25 km (16 mi) from the town of Tumakuru.  The sacred mountain is shaped as a Shivalinga and a spring flows near, locally called "Ganga", thereby giving
the place its name.

We started our Journey from Banglore around 6:30 am, it is around 2 hrs drive but we took a breakfast halt at Namaste Banglore. After having a heartfelt breakfast we reached the starting point around 9:30 am and started the trek. There are lot of steps on the way, at times its steep but the good part is they have railing to hold on to it. We took little less than to reach the summit. One needs to be careful with the monkeys, the snatch even the cameras. On the way one can find several small shops to have a drink or munches. There is no entry fee for this trek. The view from took is mesmerizing.
