The river rafting in Rishikesh is quite exciting. They have rafting for different stretches from 12km to 35 km and the prices vary from Rs 800/- to Rs 3000/-. The class of rapids go upto level 4. We did the 12km stretch as they do not allow the children to go on longer stretch as the rapids there are really fierce. WE were picked up from our apartment at 9:30 am to take us to Brhampuri. Here the guide gave us security instructions and then we were ready to start. There are three rapids on the 12 kms stretch and one of them really made the raft shake. Later on we were allowed to jump in Ganga where the water was calmer. It was a wonderful experience, me and my son enjoyed it.
