Srinagar, the summer capital of J & K has lot to offer. I went there after a very long time. The places/ activities one can do in Srinagar starts with Shikara ride in iconic Dal Lake where we passed through the floating market, there were several sellers who came near the boat selling there stuff. We had Kavha there and also got several pictures clicked with Kashmiri dress. Our next stop was to visit the gardens of Srinagar. We went to Botanical gardens, Nishat Bagh and Chashm-e- Shahi. The Zabran hill range in the background of the garden makes it scenic. We passed the Governor's house on the way to Pari Mahal which overlooks the city of Srinagar and Dal Lake. Our last stop was Shakracharya temple, one needs to climb 250 stairs to reach the temple. All the places can be covered in one day.
