Peeku Park - A must visit place in Yercaud
One of the must visit places in Yercaud is Peeku Park. The park has lot of animals. It is a nice place for kids and adults. The two aviaries where one can feed the birds and enjoy them sitting on you is a wonderful experience. Another great experience is to feed the Ostriches and several other animals. Peeku Park is open from 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and from 8:30 am to 5 pm on weekends. The ticket price is Rs 250/- pp. They have several birds and animals- Chickens from different countries, Turkies, Goats, Gineau pigs, Rabbits and more but the nest one we liked where the two aviaries where the birds would just come and sit on the shoulder, one can feed them as well. Another major attraction is feeding the ostriches which was first time for me. This place can engage adults and kids for quite a long time. Me and my son enjoyed being at this park.
