Rishikesh is beautiful amalgamation of urban and ancient culture.It's in some way contradictory .On one side it is called "Devbhoomi"a hub of yoga and land of yogis and on other side,modern crowd smoking up everywhere,chilling out at cafés shows a different picture of this place.
Apart from gazing the beauty at banks of Holy Ganges,I explored some offbeat options to explore like riding a bike or scooty at Janki setu is so much fun,a small trek at byasi to the tides of ganga to witness its mesmerizing beauty takes heart away,alongwith exploring different cafes in city,a glass of Masala tea with 'matthi'at upskirts of Kiarki village leaves a divine taste on mind and mouth.
I was there for a short span of fifteen days but I know this place will call me anytime and I m ready to go😊
Apart from traditional river rafting,kayaking and waterfall trek rafting is so much fun and adventurous. Leopards are often seen here to drink water as told by locals.i m scared but can give a pose😊
