Pulga Village - Unexplored Treasure in Himachal
We wanted to range over Parvati Valley, after our stay in Malana Village. It was 16km from Kasol via Barshaini. It took us an hours of journey in taxi to reach there. The road goes down to the dam and the road at this place, from there the walk to Pulga begins across a bridge.
The only way to reach Pulga Village was on foot. After a 3km foot from Barshaini to Pulga, we reached magnificent Pulga, Himachal Pradesh.
After a bit of an uphill climb, we saw a few signboards indicating homestays in Pulga village and there was also a pulley supported to a tree. Another small bridge was crossed and we had reached the market square of Pulga.There were paths leading to all the directions from the village square.
The peaceful habitat has surprisingly large number of foreigners visiting the place throughout the year. Pulga village is one of the must visit for all the bag packers as it will enhance their love for bag packing as well as offbeat destinations.
