*Note - For latest information - Contact any hotel/hostel for latest information. Me being a solo travel, always use this trick which helps me to be ready for all ifs and buts :)

I went to Rishikesh in April 2021 for 15 days to cover content for my vlog. I stayed at hostel for budget bagpacking and did a tiffin 'jugaad' to manage my budget friendly food which way I helped a small dhaba is this tough time :)

Rishikesh is surrounded by Ganga and there are n no. of places aarti happens day-evening out of which 3 top famous are 1. Triveni Ghat Aarti 2. Parmarth Niketan Aarti and 3. Shatru Ghat aarti which performed at the same time.

In the span of time, I've covered more places in Rishikesh which will cover in the coming blogs. Hope you find this article well.

Morning Day Tour

1st Place - The Beatles Ashram cum Rajajji Reserve Tigar - This place is holy for meditation and one of the famous tourist spot amongst visitor. When I was going to this Ashram by walk, asking from the locals for direction, I got to know about 2 beatles ashram which confused me and some how I could manage to reach at my destination (Best to use google map). Finally, I reached my destination via Janki Jhula bridge (No sign board), bought a ticket and got inside in a curious to see beauty of that painting (Maharishi and Beatles). Earlier there was no charges and now the place has become privatised so the charges are as follows: Indian Adult 150 INR, Senior Adult 75 INR, Indian Student upto (18) 40 INR, Indian Student above (18) 75 INR, Foreigner 600 INR and timing 10 AM to 5 PM. The moment I entered what I felt about this place was much more atmost importance of religious living, strong power to women and the history behind this architect. I learned about who was Maharishi, What was transcendental meditation, why beatles group made a visit and more about Rajaji reserve.

Evening-day Tour

2nd Place - Holy attendance at Triveni Ghat to witness 16 Kundh Famous Maha Ganga Aarti - Have you ever felt goosebumps when witnessing ganga aarti? Um-ahm well I felt this when I saw mesmerising religious faith toward holy water and respect for 'Ganga'. Other way I thought no wander what if this holy witness may also go commercialised on any day to make money out of it because devotees are a lot following the faith and India runs on religious faith which is well known by the government. I enjoyed the peace after aarti. The aarti preparation starts at 6:00 PM and the kundh aarth starts at 7:00 PM so ensure you reach at your destination on or before time.
