Bali a picture perfect location

This post might help those planning to visit Bali. Bali is a beautiful island where endless blue ocean creates a dreamy backdrop for memorable pictures. We Indians can enjoy being a millionaire atleast for a week. The people are humble, courteous, professional. We stayed in Sanur, in the Eastern part of Bali. Sri, a women taxi driver who came highly recommended by a friend, drove us around & planned our itenary for our week's stay. We visited all the major beautiful locations & attractions like Uluwatu temple, Kintamani Volcano for sunrise, Ubud, Bali swing, Gate of Heaven, Nusa Penida Island trip, Ulindanu temple, Tanah lot & among many other attractions like water sports, swing, scuba dive, sea walk, banana boat ride, ATV ride. Here getting a good driver is very important as they become ur guide & photographer too. They stand in queues inspite of the hot sun, climb trees to get the best pic with an amazing backdrop & suggest the best place for insta pics. 

Lot of Indian food restaurants are there, we chose that were close like, Ganesha ek sanskriti in Sanur market which was too good, Gate way of India was moderate, Udupi pure veg near Nusa Dua was superb, Kurnia Indian Tandoor near Tanah lot was excellent too. Do not miss the Balinese massage too. For shopping, Silver jewelry, Batik print clothing, wood craving among many art forms are quite good.  

Some Tips

• Carrying USD is recommended. 
• Availing a tourist sim card with only internet will be helpful.
• Sunscreen lotions are a must carry.
• No free water in Bali.
• Public transport is very bad but 2 wheeler rentals are easily available.

My personal experience

1. I stayed in Karma Royal Sanur. Through RCI membership, it costed me 35k for a room for 7N8D stay.

2. The cost mainly depends on activities u choose & entrance fees to these places. Some like Hundara gates can be omitted as it is just an entrance gate for a pvt company who charge around Rs500 per person for just clicking photos. Also if u r looking for best scuba dive experience, pls do it in Nusa Penida Island instead of nusa dua as the water is very clear & clean there. Plan accordingly as u need to stay a night there in the island but it's worth it.

3. It will cost u roughly around 60k to 80k per person including airfare.

4. I would recommend Sri, our Bali lady driver there, Aloha swing in ubud (do rent the costume there, its worth every penny), Kuber ATV bike ride which is just amazing, also water activities in Nusa Penida Island even though it is expensive. Also don't miss out on Balinese massage.

For veg food, have mentioned few good ones where we had been.
