We could not bear it any more on last Sunday, 23rd August 2020. It's been a long time; we were scared and sat at home for about five months. That too, away from home, in Bangalore. We were seeing each other’s face of us three people. Daughter’s classes will start at College, from September. So let's talk a little one day break.

Where to go? Is there a lake or fountain nearby? Found some spots but somewhere those places were closed till now, some places villagers were not allowing outsiders and some places review said roads are in bad shape.

Then we decided to sit on the bank of the lake that can be seen through our window and take pictures with the lake and have our family picnic there. So we started with our own food and decided to have a round of the lake, spend some time and come back, just to rejuvenate us.

I relied on Google uncle and uncle failed, taking us to a place where you have to be an adventurer to reach the lake. So much jungle, grass, dirt, bushes all around. So we came out of that place and thought of going to a familiar lake not a very good one but a big water body and there were places to sit and enjoy. We went to the place and again got disappointed, the whole lake is full of grass and water, it was very clear that due to lockdown and other reasons the lakes are not being taken care. When we were coming out of that place another family with three small kids ventured and asked us about the condition, was very disappointed hearing the status.

Then we decided, let's see if the Art of Living Ashram is open. We turned to Kanakpura Road and reaching the gate, the gatekeeper said there was no chance of opening before the end of the year.

Everyone's face turned pale. Then, on the way to home, we entered a large housing colony, bought some food from CCD and used those along with the food taken from home, as lunch. This is the first time we have eaten outside since March.

Overall, everyone was happy to be outside of home for about three - four hours. But nowhere did we had chance of taking pictures.

So before returning home, we took some phots of our last stop as evidence, as picture that we did not lost the war against Covid. Nobody knows when this problem is going to be over, till that time::
