Stay in a Houseboat in Dal Lake, Srinagar
Staying in a house boat on iconic Dal Lake in Srinagar, is a must do activity when you are visiting Kashmir. We were on a 5 nights 6 days trip to Kashmir and our first night was on a Houseboat. We stayed in a Meena group of house boats. They had 16 house boats and the one we stayed in was 35 years old with Deodhar and Walnut tree walls and furniture. The carvings on the bedside and the walls was very well defined and beautiful. Check out the house boat in this vlog.

I went to Kashmir after 1980s, at that time I was a kid, don't have many memories but visiting this place was like visiting a place out of the world.
