Jatayu's Earth Centre, Kerala

Jatayu Earth Centre is a tourism centre at Chadayamangalam in Kerala. Jatayu Nature Park is known for world’s largest bird sculpture. The park is about 38 kms away from the city of Kollam and about 675 Kms from Bengaluru. Its believed that Jatayu fell onto the rocks here, after defeated by Ravana.

To reach the top, where Jatayu's sculpture is present, visitors can either take the 826 steps walkway up the hill, or take a cable car.Entry fees is Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- park entry + Rs.250/- for cable car plus GST). If you wish to walk upto the hill, entry fees is Rs.250/- + GST. I feel these fees are bit exorbitant considering that there is nothing much to do here. You can just see the sculpture and come back.
